Meet the Team: Michelle

What do you do at zeroheight?

I’m a Design Advocate at zeroheight. My role includes serving the design community through knowledge sharing, building bridges, and identifying community needs and solutions. I love talking shop about design systems, accessibility, globalization, and mentorship. You might see me present at conferences, write articles on our blog, or ask questions on zheroes.

Favorite thing that zeroheight does?

As a product designer and design manager working on design systems, documentation always fell behind. It was always so much to set up and tough to maintain – until zeroheight came along. The fact that it’s so easy to spin up and painless to maintain… wow! I fell in love.

Cats or dogs?

Cats – I have two: Henry (Rollins) and Yuki (means “snow” in Japanese).

What album, book and luxury item would you take if you were marooned on a desert island?

Album: London Calling by the Clash. I can and have listened to this album on repeat for days on end. It’s just such a good album and gets me motivated. I’d need that to build my hut, a fire, and a raft.

Book: Creative Acts for Curious People by Sarah Stein Greenberg. This is to combat going insane. The book is filled with lots of thought-provoking activities that get you thinking more creatively.

Luxury item: Espresso maker – I don’t even know how to use one, but I’d be so sad without coffee.
