Meet the Team: Tim

What do you do at zeroheight?

I’m an Enterprise Account Executive on the sales team. The first point of contact for anyone interested in the zeroheight Enterprise offering. I try to understand someone’s Design System needs & goals, consult them on possible solutions, provide them with the right Enterprise plan and guide them through the purchasing process.

What’s on your desk?

  1. Water bottle. I drink about 5 of those a day. I talk a lot during a typical workday, so I get thirsty quickly.
  2. Vinyl Toy – I have been collecting vinyl toys since I was about 16. Pete Fowler has created this one. Big fan of his.
  3. 2 Headphones. I use the over-ear one when I need to focus. It has excellent noise cancellation, which comes in handy when working from home with a 5-month-old . The other one is for calls with customers.
  4. More desk toys! These are mostly Nintendo Amiibo’s, and I love the design of them.
  5. A copy of the patent for headphones. This was a housewarming present from a friend when I moved to London 3 years ago. I love to DJ, so this was a perfect gift.
  6. A good quality webcam that I use for all my calls.

Favorite thing at zeroheight

I don’t think I’ve ever worked at a company with so many like-minded people; it’s excellent! We have so many Slack channels (too many?) where we can nerd out over our shared interests. There’s one for food, for gaming, a book club, one for music, and even one where we show off personal projects or stuff we have made. There’s a great company culture where everyone can be themselves.

Starters or desserts?

Starters, 100%. It sets you up for the main course and allows you to try different things on the menu. I always try to balance it against my main. Going for a meat dish, have a vegetarian starter or vice versa. Heavy starter and lighter main. Fish starter, meaty main, etc. It’s great to pair each dish with a different wine. Also, I’m not a big dessert guy ‍♂️ I’d rather have a cheese board
