Design systems handled by you

This is not a single conversation, it is a cycle of 20 conversations, which took place between March 2021 and February 2023, and help to met some of the main specialists in design systems in Portugal and Brazil. All conversations had the same idea of approach. The first part where each guest show a little of the design systems projects of their teams and as learnings. The second part was intended for questions and answers, but also the approach to some brought by the moderator Ruben Ferreira Duarte.

This cycle of talks made it possible to give visibility to the design systems work of various teams in Portugal and Brazil. With this sharing, any participant can learn from the experience of other teams, but mainly the things that these teams have done well, but also those that they learned the hard way through experimentation.

The greatest value of this cycle of talks was first and foremost in giving visibility to the work of many different teams. Small teams, large teams, it was possible to get to know the work of a very wide range of people.

The conversations were an individual initiative by the designer Ruben Ferreira Duarte with the precious support of the Clube da Criatividade de Portugal, without any kind of monetary support from any brand and had the pro-bono participation of all teams and professionals what is awesome. The speakers in the talks are professionals from teams as different as Fullsix Portugal, Miew, OLX Group, OutSystems, Körber Digital, Bliss Applications, GitLab, Meiuca, Significa, Nagarro, Hi Interactive, Farfetch, Continente, Deloitte, Namecheap, Pixelmatters, Talkdesk, Interos, Microsoft and Google. This further proves the plurality of perspectives that these conversations managed to bring to the community.
