About Jina Anne
Jina (they/she) is a designer who codes and “no-codes”. At Google, they manage the design and developer relations team for Material Design. Jina founded Clarity, the design systems community conference, and Design.Systems. They also co-chair the Design Tokens Community Group. And on the Sass core team, Jina helps lead the brand design and development. They’ve been making websites as a hobby for 29 years. Jina has worked professionally in the industry for 22 years (19 of those years working with design systems). They’ve been said to be a cheerful goth.
