You can customize how your viewers navigate your styleguide with the top navigation.
The topbar can include links to tabs in your styleguide or to external links. When you decide to include external links, you give your viewers a way to access pertinent information housed outside your design system without needing to remember where to find everything.
You can include top navigation and side navigation. Or, you can choose to only use top navigation and have viewers find specific pages using the search bar.
