This feature allows the use of both SSO (Single Sign-On) and traditional email/password authentication methods when accessing the editor area. Enabling this toggle offers flexibility and ensures access continuity under various circumstances.
Why use it?
- Maintain Access with Email/Password: Even after setting up SSO, you might wish to keep the option to log in via email and password. This toggle ensures that traditional login methods remain available.
- Update SSO Credentials Safely: If you need to update your SSO credentials, enabling this toggle beforehand ensures you won’t be locked out of the editor area. You’ll be able to log in using your regular email and password during the update process.
- Accommodate External Users: For external users who need access to the editor but aren’t set up on your company’s SSO, this feature allows them to log in using their email and password, ensuring they can access the editor area without SSO credentials.
How to Enable This Feature
You can enable this feature after completing step 7 when setting up your SSO or on the Edit SSO Settings page.
