Frequently Asked Questions

  • When you purchase the Starter plan for the first time, you are charged for a minimum of 1x Starter plan editor: $59* (if paying monthly) or $588* (if paying yearly). The charge is pro-rated to cover your subscription until the end of your billing cycle (this is based on the date of your initial subscription, and whether you purchased monthly or yearly). At the start of your next billing cycle, your account gets charged the full monthly / yearly amount based on the number of editors in your organization at the time.
  • The Starter plan trial is a 14-day trial during which you can access Starter plan features. If you are on the Free plan (which only supports a single Editor), you can invite other Editors during the trial, but note that they will lose access to your account at the end of the trial. However, they will regain access as soon as you subscribe to the Starter plan.
  • For teams on the Starter plan, if an editor leaves, your account gets credited based on the remaining time before the next billing cycle. That credit is then automatically applied to your account when the next billing cycle starts.
  • The short answer is yes. All communication is encrypted using SSL / HTTPS, our servers are backed up daily, and zeroheight is hosted on enterprise grade cloud infrastructure via AWS S3. You can read more about their compliance and certifications here:

    AWS

Access control is enforced using 22-character base64 authentication tokens. We never write our own security code and rely on industry best practices.
  • This isn’t on the roadmap for now – we’re currently focusing all our efforts on our cloud solution.
  • Private share links are one way to secure who can access your styleguide. Depending on your plan, you’ll have different options on how to secure your styleguides (read more about this here).
  • The Starter plan can be purchased by credit card from the billing page. The Enterprise plans can be purchased via invoice.
  • You can cancel your Starter subscription anytime from the billing page which will prevent it from auto-renewing. Even after a subscription is canceled, you can continue to use paid features until the end of your billing cycles.

Our Professional and Enterprise plans require a one year minimum commitment, and can be canceled based on the terms agreed upon becoming a customer, that govern the use of your software. Please reach out to us at support@zeroheight.com if you have questions about continuing with our higher tiered plans
