Hiring Report 2022

2022 was a really interesting year for design systems; it felt like there was a greater understanding and level of maturity across the community than ever before. We wanted to see how this had impacted design system hiring.

Back in September 2022, we conducted a survey aimed at both design system candidates and hiring managers looking to recruit for design system roles. The questions unlocked insights on the current market for design system candidates, the hiring processes and areas for potential improvement.
