How We Document Webinar 3: Design Tokens

In this webinar, our lead design advocate, Luke Murphy, along with Dan Donald (Auto Trader) and Kaelig Deloumeau-Prigent (W3C Design Tokens Community Group), diving into one of the newer design systems topics — Design Tokens. From when they make sense and where they don’t, to the potential future problems we face with standardization and fragmentation, to the evergreen topic of designer-engineer relations. We’ll spend half an hour deep-diving into some topics around Tokens before handing the microphone over to you to ask your questions!

Before zeroheight, Luke has worked as a product designer, product manager, front-end developer, and consultant with brands including Memrise, Mr & Mrs Smith, Microsoft, Fujitsu, Cisco, and Hotels.com. Kaelig is a design/developer advocate working for Shopify as a UX development manager on Polaris, Shopify’s design system. He is the founder and co-chair of the Design Tokens W3C Community Group. Previously, he’s worked on the design systems and responsive websites of Salesforce, the Financial Times, BBC News and the Guardian.

Dan is currently the content and experience lead on design systems at Auto Trader in the UK. He’s been speaking and writing about the web, front-end development, and design systems for over ten years, and co-organizes the front-end conference UpFront in Manchester.
