How We Document: The DesignSystem Documentation Survey

Design systems have become more recognized as table stakes, and design system documentation platforms are gaining traction. “How We Document” helps us reflect on how far we’ve come in the past year.

We’ve launched “How We Document” to capture some quantitative and qualitative insights. We’re hoping to learn more about you, your team, your design system, your documentation practices, and the successes and challenges you’ve faced.

Based on the information, we’re interested in finding trends from smaller organizations to enterprise operations. We hope to provide some ideas or suggestions from this data to help organizations improve their documentation. We’ll be sharing our complete analysis in early 2023.
