Meet the team: Ceinwen

What do you do at zeroheight?

I’m a customer success manager. That means my day to day role is to help enterprise clients get the most out of using zeroheight. I deliver onboarding and training to new clients; gather feedback from enterprise users on how we can improve the platform; and create content for all our users in our help center and best practices site.

What excites you most about the future of designops?

I love making our client’s lives easier. When I hear from a designer that they used to have to spend hours updating custom-built design system documentation or create tickets for an engineer to do it, and now they can just do it themselves in zeroheight in a matter of minutes – I get such a buzz from hearing this! So anything that can be built to improve and speed up processes for designers and engineers so they can instead just focus on what they do best — that excites me.

What album, book and luxury item would you take if you were marooned on a desert island?

Bonobo’s album Migration, but preferably I could take my whole Spotify library.

One book? It’s impossible for me to choose just one as I’m a pretty avid reader (fun fact: I don’t have a TV streaming subscription as I prefer reading instead )

For a luxury item the first thing that came to mind was my rice cooker! I lived in Asia for 8 years (in China and Japan) so I’m super fussy about getting perfect rice However, I guess I’d have all the time in the world to perfect cooking rice over an open fire… so perhaps instead I’d choose either my Kindle so that I have a whole library to read, or my phone so that way I could call people for a chat and fulfil my extroverted tendencies!

What’s on your desk?

  1. Notepad for my to-do lists. I still prefer doing this by hand than in my notes app as there’s something super satisfying about physically crossing something off the list!
  2. Plants – I have a lot of plants all around my room as there is something calming about them.
  3. Mug – I think the most British thing about me is that I drink a lot of cups of tea in a day!
  4. Laptop and monitor – I have to share my screen on client calls a lot so I usually share my large screen and then type notes on my smaller screen.
  5. Trinkets and postcards from my travels – I love traveling more than anything and it makes me happy to have reminders of some of my trips. (from left – Japan, Japan, India (elephant), Bolivia, Peru (panpipes), on top China (postcard) and painting from Inner Mongolia
