Jeannie Servaas

Jeannie Servaas is a Design Principal at IBM and the Creative Director of the Carbon Design System. Jeannie has a designer’s eye for craft and a passion for systems thinking. Over the course of her career, she’s built an extensive body of work serving diverse audiences and spanning across industries. Prior to joining IBM in 2018, she worked with globally recognized brands such as PwC, MetLife, Microsoft, Univision, USA Today, Dwell, AOL, Nokia, Herman Miller, MTV and VH1. This journey fostered a deep belief in the importance of authenticity and narrative in branding—both for employees and for consumers—making her a natural champion of brand at IBM. Jeannie is a Michigan native who served a 10-year stint in NYC and currently resides near the beach in South Florida with her husband and son.

Julien Vaniere

Design System Director at Sage

Julien Vaniere

Julien has a multi-disciplinary education provided by ETPA, where he studied coding and design. He started at Airbus and subcontractors on e-learning in 2002, parallel to his freelancer role. It brought him many projects, mixing various skills and challenges. He started at Sage on the web 14 years ago before moving to UX 10 years ago. He’s now the director of the design system for Sage that he participated in creating two years and a half ago. His team of 10 comprises specialists in UX/UI, content, accessibility, mobile, research, and development.

Audrey Hacq

Product Design Director at OpenClassrooms

Audrey Hacq

After studying at Estienne and Les Gobelins, Audrey started her career in 2006 in the print industry. That’s where she discovered the importance of graphic guidelines and Brand. She then joined different web agencies including Idean (ex Backelite) where she developed strong expertise in Design Systems. She wrote a lot of articles and even participated in writing a book on that subject. Today, she’s Product Design Director at OpenClassrooms where she manages a team of 20 people including Product Designers, Content Designers, User Researchers, and DesignOps.

Jules Mahe

Jules has worked in agencies where he has set up numerous design systems for different clients. He also works in schools to guide students and teach them about current design issues. He is now a Design Advocate at zeroheight to help the design community create a better future for design.
